Sachin specially seemed to be much more comfortable than everyone (unlike VVS) and yet kept getting out even after getting starts… perhaps the bowling was just too good… 3 bowlers in perfect rhythm bowling consistent line/lengths one after the other… bowling in good areas under conditions supporting swing and bounce is probably always going to be difficult to play.

agree entirely. what a year!!! actually, he has been looking in amazing form since the australia series. Even during the SL series dip he seemed to be completely comfortable against the bowling and somehow contrived to score merely 25-odd runs during 3 tests! But everything seems to have come together during last one year. Astounding!

(minor nitpick.. Mumbai hasn’t yet “confirm”ed its place in semi-finals, regardless of what the commentators seem to be saying)
